Welcome to the Dressing Up Chest which specialises in hand made dressing up clothes and fancy dress costumes.  Importantly these are quite ‘wearable’ and washable.  That is they can be worn all day on any occasion. They don’t have to be saved for parties and fancy dress competitions.

All costumes are individually made using top quality fabrics well able to withstand the rigours of play. They are crafted with tender loving care and with value for money in mind.

On this site you can view just a small selection of the costumes available. You can select from these, choose your own character or design your own costume from scratch. The possibilities are endless!

I also make costumes for stage and dance schools. A complete service can be offered  from design, taking measurements, fabric purchase, making up and final fitting. Accessories can also be sourced and supplied at competitive prices.
